Dermagard® - A Cosmetically Effective Compound
Dermagard® is a highly effective composite of Glucaferm® and Hyaferm®, that unifies the immune stimulating effects of Glucaferm® and the carrier abilities of Hyaferm®. Only this composite guarantees, that the substance will be absorbed by the deeper layers of the skin shortly after it has been applied and then there can develop its effect.
 
Glucaferm® contains the active ingredient (13),(16)-ß-D-glucan, which is the main structural component that comes from the cell wall of pure yeast culture's strain saccharomyces cerevisiae. Glucaferm® consists of chain-like glucose molecules and displays a structure, which has been specially defined.

Conditioned by this special structure, Glucaferm® is recognised for its ability to exert a positive influence on the immune system and thus reinforce the skin's power of resistance. For this reason Glucaferm® stimulates the natural regeneration of dermal cells that leads to a noticeable smoothing out of wrinkles and to an increase in the skin's elasticity and firmness. Glucaferm® speeds up skin's reepithelisation after minor injuries, stimulates the collagen formation (by promoting the interlacing of collagen fibres), and deactivates as a powerful antioxidant free radicals, before these can damage the skin surface. The sum of these effects makes Glucaferm® a very effective "anti-aging substance" in high-quality cosmetics.
 
Hyaferm® is a combination of hyaluronate produced through a special method. It has excellent transdermal carrier features, which makes it possible to transport substances into deeper skin layers.
